Organization Objectives

 
In order to realize the vision, mission and goal of AREPEB, the following objectives will be pursued:

(i) Support outreach and awareness program on human rights issues like rights to life, right to be heard, children’s rights, rights to own property, gender equality.
(ii) Enhance campaign and advocate ratification of international convention related to human rights and peace.
(iii)Promote arms control and disarmament, demobilization and reintegration measures with the motive to improve and develop peace, harmony and cooperation.
(iv) To support and promote education and vocational training to the community.
(v) Promote well-being at the rights of children, orphanages, people with disabilities and elders.
(vi) Enhance and support governance capability to mediation, negotiation, arbitration, reconciliation and peace building.
(vii)To provide aids to the communities affected by natural and man-made disasters
including flood, earthquakes, landslides, volcano eruption, famine/hunger, and diseases.
(viii)To promote the implementation of Democracy and the Good Governance as the solutions to resolve conflicts within our communities.
(ix)To support and finance organizations that promote peace and reconciliation programs, Human rights, community empowerment, enhancing
technical capacity building and mentoring.
(x)To enhance and enable Construction of schools, orphanage centers and colleges offering free education to the orphanages, and other needy once.
(xi)To develop youth, elderly, and women’s development ideas, talents and skills.
 

Stakeholders/Partners

 
AREPEB will not operate in isolation but will endeavor to collaborate and leverage resources with existing programs of similar or like focused organizations to achieve its objectives at local and national levels. AREPEB will seek to engage players in the promotion of peace, conflict transformation, prevention of violent extremism and poverty eradication within the country to create sustainable partnerships. It will therefore enter into strategic partnerships with them and maintain a database of them all.
It will therefore collaborate with a number of stakeholders including the Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly, and Children (MoHCDGEC), The President’s Office – Regional Administration and Local Government (TAMISEMI), Inter-Religious Council of Peace in Tanzania (IRCPT), The Tanzanian National Committee for the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, War Crimes, Crimes Against Humanity and All Forms of Discrimination, UNDP, WiLDAF, TAMWA, Tanzania Editors’ Forum (TEF), and Media Council of Tanzania (MCT).
